Book Launch Week
What a very happy Halloween month this has been. It was an enormous pleasure working with this year's Green Ink Sponsored Writers to raise £2335 (plus £449.25 in gift aid) for Macmillan Cancer Support.
From then on, it's been all about the lead-up to last Thursday's birth of my new short story cycle, Twisted Branches.
That's meant writing all about the literature of fear and how it makes us better writers (and stronger, more aware people) for Ginger Nuts of Horror, the British Fantasy Society, Horror Tree and World Fantasy Award Winner PriyaSharma.com.
Now, at last, we've hit Halloween week a.k.a. book launch week:
Twisted Branches launched to a packed Barnes Bookshop on 26 October. Seeing so many friends, family and members of my writing and coaching community together in my home-from-home of this wonderful local bookshop and later at Olympic Studios, where we celebrated after, was an absolute joy. Thank you to every single one of you who was there to celebrate with me.
Then, last night, Monday 30 October, I was joined my filmmaker and first-time novelist Simon Rumley for a spooky literary soiree at Olympic Studios:
If you couldn't make these earlier events (or even if you did and want more!) there's still one opportunity to celebrate the launch with me. The online launch event will be Friday 3 November. Whether you're new to my community or a longstanding writer, client or fellow traveller in the world of words and the changes they make in our thoughts and lives, I'd love to see you there.
Enjoy writing time with other writers? The Writing Room is a silent Zoom room (microphones off so no one can be jolted out of their flow!) with an open chat box, so you ask coaching questions privately with me or just enjoy a text-chat with fellow creatives.
This month's FREE sessions are on Mondays, 10.30am-12.30pm, on the following links:
Monday 6 November
Monday 13 November
Monday 20 November
Monday 27 November
If you're harbouring any questions about writing, speaking or confidence, or want to find support for strategising how your voice shows up in your business, creative and personal life, just get in touch here.
All the best,
Rachel
