Competition time! I’ll send a free book to my favourite badge suggestion. UK only unfortunately but if you’re not in the UK and have a really good suggestion I’ll send a digital prize.
Based on our earlier conversation, I think: The Chocolate Badge
When you unapologetically allow yourself to enjoy an indulgence, be that literal Chocolate or time carved out for yourself, or something else altogether.
(Life brownies are not responsible for melted badges due to adverse weather or storage conditions 👀)
I’m so glad this struck a chord with you, Stacey. Bringing what we love and want to do with our time back to being about the love, not our expectations or it or ourselves. Fabulous.
I would like a badge for emotional regulation. I don't feel I get nearly enough recognition for all the times I *haven't* totally lost it, haven't thrown things, stabbed people, smothered snorers, stepped out in front of lorries, jumped off high buildings, pushed people downstairs. Because by god have I wanted to.
Thank you, Elspeth. Knowing we are not our thoughts, and that most or all are emotionally regulating far harder than anyone else ever knows, is such an important reminder.

I’d like to nominate a Holding Space Badge: listening, no judgement, no advice, and no saying “That’s just like me! I …”
Yes! No rushing, no ownership, true listening. Love it.
